Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center is thrilled to announce a new program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing teens in the Monterey and San Benito Counties called Gaining Opportunities After Life in School For The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (GOALS).
The Monterey Peninsula Foundation is funding this program with a very generous grant of $10,000 from their Youth Fund.
The next set of classes start Sept 4, 2012 9:30-11:30am every Tuesday for 15 weeks.
Parents Raising Awesome Independent Safe Energetic Kids Classes include topics such as how to effectively communicate, discipline techniques, increasing empathy, appropriate expectations and more.
